China’s Pillows
The following is an ode to our store cat China. It can be sung to the tune of Bobby McFerrin’s Don’t Worry, Be Happy
There is a lovely cat I know
She sits in our garden and watches it grow
She’s fat and she’s luscious.
When she lies down she makes a puddle
She’s good to hug when you’re in a muddle
She’s fat and she’s luscious.
ooo ooooo ooooo oooo o o ooooo ooo
She can fill a whole dog’s bed
or use a pot to rest her head.
She’s fat and she’s luscious.
She’s as round as any pear,
she ain’t got a corner anywhere
She’s fat and she’s luscious.
ooooo ooooo oo oo ooo ooo ooo
She is no bully, she is no oaf,
She’s just a little meatloaf.
So she’s fab, and she’s luscious.
She’s fab and she’s luscious.

SHE IS LUSCIOUS! There’s something magic about calico cats!
